Preventative Maintenance Check

Water Heaters

What We Will Do: Clean the burner assembly on your gas water heater, visually check the Temperature & Pressure relief vavle for safe operation and free of corrosion. Check the vent assembly for carbon monoxide leakage. If electirc, check the thermostat settings and readjust. Drain the water heater and clear the tank of sediment. Insure the water heater is operating at its peak efficiency as per manufacturer's specifications

Why Have It Done: All manufacturers inclduing ourselves, recommend having this service performed in order to maintain the warranty on the water heater. This service should be performed at least once a year. By having this service done by us, it guarantees that your water heater will be operating at its peak efficiency, saving you money on your utility bills as well as insuring safety. Your faucets will operate easier and require less maintenance since the sediment and foreign materials trapped in your water heaters will not travel through the hot pipes.

Kitchen Faucet

What We Will Do: We will check the most widely used ficture in the house, the kitchen faucet, for leaks and corrosion. We will also grease your stems, cartridges, and rubber seals for ease of operation and clean the aerators for proper water flow.

Why Have It Done: Foreign material often comes through your water source causing friction between the stems and seats which effect the operation of your faucet. This foreign material also cloges the aerator restricting proper water flow. By having this service performed, it will extend the life of your faucet and save you money by not having to replace these items

Toilets

What We Will Do: We will inspect the toilet and tank for any leaks and proper flushing action. We will check the ballcock for proper adjustment along with the flapper for a proper water seal. The float ball, overflow tube and linkage will be adjusted and set to manufacturer's specifications.

Why Have It Done: To reduce the embarrassing and annoying noise from improperly adjusted or defective ballcocks in the toilet. This service will reduce water consumption and guarantee proper flushing acting to move solid waste down the line, reducing the chance of stoppage.

Water Pressure Regulator

What We Will Do: Our service technician will check the water pressure on the incoming water line and make any necessary adjustments to your regulator. High water pressure will cause severe damage to the plumbing system and your water heater warranty may not be honored. This service will ensure that your plumbing water pressure is adjusted correctly. It helps extend the life of your water heater and fixtures.

Safety Check Your House

What We Will Do: Your service technician will walk through your home inspecting your plumbing system and tightening any loose faucet handles or packing nuts. Gas connections will be inspected visually as well as any exposed piping. Each emergency shut-off under the sinks, toilets, water and main water shut-off will be tested to ensure that they will operate in case of emergency. You will be shown where your emergency water shut-off valve is located and where your emergency gas shut-off is.
